PRAYER FOR PRIESTS

JESUS, I pray for your faithful and fervent priests, your unfaithful and lukewarm priests, your priests laboring at home or abroad in distant mission fields, your tempted priests, your lonely and desolate priests, your young priests, your dying priests, and the souls of your priests in purgatory. But above all, I recommend to you the priests dearest to me: the priest who baptized me, the priests who absolved me from my sins, the priests at whose Masses I
assisted and who gave me your body and blood in Holy Communion, the priests who taught and instructed me; all the priests to whom I am indebted in any other way (especially….). O Jesus, keep them all close to your heart and bless them abundantly in time and in eternity. Amen

to be forgotten by many, the true Church invokes you
universally as the Patron of things despaired of; pray
for me, who am so miserable; pray for me, that finally I
may receive the consolation and the succor of Heaven
in all my necessities, tribulations and sufferings,
particularly (All pause here in silence to make their

OUR FATHER
Pater noster, qui es in caelis,
Sanctificetur Nomen Tuum;
Adveniat Regnum Tuum;
Fiat voluntas Tua,
Sicut in caelo, et in terra.
Panem nostrum cotidianum da nobis hodie;
Et dimitte nobis debita nostra,
Sicut et nos dimittimus debitoribus nostris;
Et ne nos inducas in tentationem;
Sed libera nos a Malo. Amen.
